The provided service was good. I greatly enjoyed the funky-style building and good-sized and updated room for sound insulation...

The newly remodelled hotel is clean and features always nice and courteous staff at the reception desk. The check-in process is fast and the rooms are fairly quiet and updated, equipped with a bathroom and a big shower. The decoration is simple.

The place was fairly clean and gorgeous, it had cooperative and excellent staff at the reception desk. The location was very central, near to restaurants, city center and boulangeries and supermarkets, and there were monuments and a cathedral near the venue.

I thoroughly enjoyed the dining room. The room itself was updated, spotless for my needs and had the things I needed. The location was marvelous and incredible - ease of access to Place de la Republique.

Great location, friendly and attentive staff. Room and linen are clean, daily cleaning, shampoo and soap reported daily. The windows overlooked Lancrie Street, quiet and peaceful. They'd come and open the balcony. At our request boiling water was poured into the thermos (we took ground coffee with us). The receptionists answered all the questions at once, the map showed how to get to any place in Paris. St. MARTIN Street was a pleasure to walk down to the River Seine - 15 minutes, then right along the quay another 15 minutes and we are at the Louvre, Park Tuileries ... Near the hotel there are a lot of cafes and restaurants for every taste and price, metro Republik in three minutes...We liked it very much, we will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend to friends.
The towels are grayish, but they're clean. Bad extractor hood in the bathroom, but when airing the humidity goes away. But it's all trifles.

Overall it was fine, just very small, hot and dark. It's okay to just pass through for a few nights and just be there to sleep. But it has an elevator, which is good for those of us who travel with suitcases.
room is very small, hot and dark. I couldn't open the window or curtain because it led to a very bad, ugly hallway. you could hear people talking and smoking. smell was coming into the room. In general it was clean although it could be better, it is a very basic hotel just to be the minimum in the room just and you fit with your suitcase. quilts don't really look very clean and bed is not the best. for the prices in Paris, it did its job. If you can pay more, go for another hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near a bakery, Gare du Nord, and Gare de l'Est train stations. The room was warm and quiet with good sound insulation.- The bathroom had a big shower.

location was good, with several subway lines nearby (but still a 5 minute walk). area was full of bars and restaurants. Friendly staff.
All hotels in Paris are expensive, and this is the cheapest we found that was not too far from the center when we made the reservation. The bathroom is small, but enough for one person (two is impossible). Our room had wooden floors with modern furniture. The sheets had some holes. The second day they didn't come to sleep because we left the room late (around 1), but they gave us clean towels. I think they should take care of it a bit more and it would be a pretty decent hotel. Still, for our stay it was enough. We only used it for sleeping. If you want to spend time in the room, I don't recommend it much.

Reviews of the hotel is heterogeneous, apparently, rooms are very different, someone is lucky and someone is not. Repair of the hotel, of course, is old, overall cleanliness is well maintained, no foreign smells in the room or corridor, on the contrary, it smells of cleaning products and cleanliness. Our room (53) is not disappointed, there is a small balcony, without a carpet. hotel has an elevator. Wife's been catching pretty good. Noticed an extra blanket and a fan in the closet. Daily cleaning and change of towels, clean bed linen (which also changed). Convenient location relative to three subway stations (République, Strasbourg - St Denis, Jacques Bonsergent), from where you can reach all the sights (+ Orly airport) with a maximum of 1 transfer. Download the Paris Metro app, it has beautified our lives and we haven't been at the map for hours. In warm weather, you can walk to almost all the iconic sites of Paris (to the Louvre, Per Lachaise and Notre Dame). Nearby are two train stations and canal Saint-Martin. near the hotel several shops chains Franprie, Monoprie, Carrefour, points where very inexpensively sell take-away food, etc.. They all work late. In general, decent option to stay, given the location and price per night. Do not dwell on what you can quite close your eyes for 7-10 days, especially since behind the walls of your temporary home - one of the most interesting cities in Europe.
The bathrooms need, of course, if not an upgrade, at least a repair. In our room one sector of the shower cabin was broken, but thanks to the curtain of the flood was not suitable for bathing (the curtain, by the way, was fresh and clean). In summer time a small refrigerator would be useful.

Enjoyed the classic double room with a TV and clean decoration. The location was perfect, close to a tube station.
